13/16" Quarter Round
This decorative 13/16" quarter round measures 1.781" wide by .812" thick, allowing the use of a 2-9/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The simplistic quarter-round pattern contains a 13/16" radius convex arc tangent to the top and one side. Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the time with this unique split two-quarter round profile. Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these types of milling operations. For safety reasons, we strongly recommend installing an anti-kickback device on your machinery before attempting any milling procedures that split lumber into multiple pieces.
