This beveled 8-5/8" shiplap siding - 5 measures 8.625" wide by .687" thickness, enabling the detail to be milled out of four quarter lumber. The canted profiled is composed of a 3/64" rounded edge above the 9/32" tall by 5/8" wide rabbet on the top right, tangent to a 2.695 degree angled line that transitions the thickness to 9/32" on the left side of the design. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together they create a 3/8" drop shiplap siding with a face coverage dimension of eight inches wide.
