The profile is comprised of a 1/2" wide by 3/8" tall rabbet on the right backside, with a 1/2" wide by 3/8" tall rabbet and a 3/8" wide bevel on the left face side of the detail. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together they create a 3/8" wide by 3/8" deep one half vee groove on the face side of the joined boards.
This knife design includes the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the knives while prolonging the milling time between sharpening.
