This 2-5/8" tongue & groove decking measures 2.625" in thickness, requiring 12/4 lumber for machining a commercial moulder. The width is adjustable to any desired size within the machinery milling parameters. The profile gets utilized on roofs, decks, and truck or trailer decking. It contains two 11/32" wide by 5/16" deep tongues and grooves with a 3/16" wide by 3/16" deep chamfer on one face side of the board; there is a .036" void vertically and .062" void horizontally in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber combine, they create a 3/8" wide by 3/16" deep V-groove on a single-face side of the joined planks.
Our professionally designed acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail. It will also reduce burning and prolong the milling time between sharpening.
