Tongue & Groove 5-1/2" - 1

This 5-1/2" - 1 tongue & groove beadboard siding measures 5.750" wide overall, with a face coverage dimension of 5.500" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined from four-quarter lumber. The decorative profile is comprised of an 11/16" wide v-groove with a recessed center bead, flanked by two 2-1/16" broad lines with a 17/32" half profile on the left and a 5/32" chamfer on the right side of the pattern. The tongue and groove portion of the design consists of a 9/32" wide groove and a 1/4" wide tongue. There is a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
