This 3/4" - 79 nickel board siding measures .750" in thickness, and width and can be machined to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder/shaper used to mill the pattern. The profile is comprised of a 7/16" wide by 1/4" tall groove and a 3/4" wide by 1/4" tall offset tongue; there is a .015" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together they create a 3/8" dado on one face side of the merged boards. We offer another profile intended for blind nailing with the same 3/8" gap with different inner dimensions on the tongue & groove for your review and consideration, t & g .750" - 49.
