This distinguished 2-3/8" - 7 supporting crown mould measures 2.389" width by .687" thickness, requiring the use of a 2-5/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The beautiful supporting profile contains a 1/32" radius convex semicircular arc joined to a 7/64" vertical fillet on the top left. The short line connects to a 49/64" cove in the center with a 9/64" flat bar merged with two cascading quarter-round beads on the design's bottom right. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 1-13/16" tall with a projection of 1-9/16" across the top.
