Crown 2-3/8" - 9

This exquisite 2-3/8" - 9 terminating crown mould measures 2.352" width by .625" thickness, requiring a 2-5/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber to mill sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The well-crafted terminating profile retains a 23/64" vertical line segment on the top left. The short stubby line connects to a 15/32" concave semicircle tangent off a 17/32" convex arc creating the attractive cyma recta in the center. The remaining portion retains a 5/64" by 5/64" squared lines joined to a small ogee with a 7/64" broad line segment on the design's bottom right corner. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; in addition, they lock in the installed height at 1-13/16" tall with a 1-1/2" projection across the top.
