Crown 3" - 8

This 3" - 8 colonial crown mould measures 3.000" wide by .750" thickness. The time-honored profile comprises two tangent circles creating cyma recta in the center, attached to a 43/64" tall vertical fillet on top. The lower section of the design consists of an 11/32" radius cove flanked by a 7/32 vertical line and a 13/32" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; search our bevels category by these degrees to find two back bevel cutters appropriate for this lovely crown moulding design, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-3/8" tall with a projection of 1-53/64" wide.
