This Common Crown Moulding 3-3/16" - 2 measures 3.188" wide by .687" thickness, with a depth of cut of .306" on the right vertical blades, .602" depth of cut on the left set of cutters, and a .366" on the top horizontal profile knives.
The traditional profile is comprised of a 5/8" radius arc tangent off of a 53/64" radius concave semicircle, forming a cyma recta in the center, attached to a 1/2" tall vertical line on top. The lower portion consists of a 37/64" radius cove, connected to a 15/64" vertical line, and a 15/64" wide horizontal line on the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight, and fifty-two degrees, with a one half degree back cut on each side of the detail. These specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-9/16" tall with a projection of 1-29/32" wide. Two high points in the design were deliberately positioned on the same level plane, our creative design feature will create optimal hold down conditions while milling the pattern on an industrial moulder.
