This attractive 3-1/4" - 15 crown mould measures 3.257" width by .750" thickness, requiring a 3-1/2" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The beautiful terminating profile comprises a 9/32" vertical line segment connected to a 1/4" wide by 3/16" tall notch on the top left. The cut-out connects to a 3/4" concave semicircle tangent off a 13/16" convex arc, creating the free-flowing cyma recta in the center, with a 5/16" tall by 5/8" wide squared bottom on the right corner of the pattern. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, in addition to locking in the height at 2-3/8" tall with a 2-1/4" projection across the top.
