Crown Moulding 3-5/16" - 10

This Cyma Recta Crown Moulding 3-5/16" - 10 measures 3.312" wide by .813" thickness with a .415" depth of cut on the right vertical cutters, .437" depth of cut on the left blades, and a .384" depth of cut on the top horizontal set of moulding knives.

The attractive profile is comprised of a 7/8" radius concave arc, tangent off of a convex 27/32" radius curve creating the cyma recta, attached to a 1/2" tall vertical fillet at the top. The lower portion of the design consists of a 3/16" radius three quarter round circle, flanked by a 1/8" tall vertical fillet, and a 1/8" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-21/32" tall with a projection of 2-1/4" wide. Two high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane, this functional design feature will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the moulder pressure shoe is properly set parallel to the moulder bed plates.
