This compelling 3-5/16" - 8 crown mould measures 3.317" width by .750" thickness, requiring a 3-9/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The concave & convex terminating profile comprises a 21/64" vertical line connected to a 27/64" cove with a 13/64" horizontal fillet on the top left. The center retains a 1-3/16" convex arc attached to a 5/16" vertical segment and a 27/64" cavetto with a 3/8" broad line on the design's bottom right corner. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, in addition to locking in the height at 2-1/2" tall with a 2-3/16" projection across the top.
