This creatively handsome 3-7/16" - 12 crown mould measures 3.437" wide by .812" thickness, allowing the pattern to be milled sprung (horizontally flat) from four-quarter lumber. The supporting profile comprises a two-tangent radius elliptical-shaped arc flanked by two vertical line segments in the upper portion. The lower section consists of a 31/32" cavetto connected to a 1/4" radius half-round circle with a 3/16" tall by 13/64" broad squared lines at the bottom of the detail. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-1/2" tall with a projection of 2-9/16" wide.
