This custom 3-7/16" - 4 crown mould measures 3.437" wide by .687" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber. The embellishing profile is composed of a 9/16" tall vertical segment on top. It's connected to a two tangent radius cyma recta joined to a 37/64" tall segment explicitly designed for a piece of 1/2" rope mould, attached to a 9/32" cove with a 9/32" horizontal line at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-37/64" tall with a projection of 2-9/32" wide.
