This echinus style 3-7/16" - 8 crown mould measures 3.437" wide by .812" thickness. The supporting ovolo-shaped profile is prominent in the abacus (flat slab that supports the architrave) of a Doric or Tuscan order column or capital. The exciting design consists of a 15/32" wide by 13/32" tall squared lines on top, connected to a 9/32" vertical sunk fillet that transitions into a two tangent radius elliptical shaped arc in the center, joined to a 13/32" cove flanked by a 9/32" vertical line segment above, and a 13/64" broad horizontal line at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-3/4" tall with a projection of 2-1/16" wide.
