Crown 3-1/2" - 3

This fancy 3-1/2" - 3 crown mould measures 3.500" wide by .750" thick, allowing milling of sprung (lying horizontally flat) from four-quarter lumber. The beautiful terminating profile consists of a 5/16" tall vertical line at the top, connected to a two-tangent-radius cyma recta in the center. The lower portion is derived from 5/32" wide by 1/4" tall perpendicular lines that connect to a two-tangent radius cyma reversa with a 5/16" flat line at the bottom of the design. The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific back-angle positions lock the installed height at 2-1/2" and provide a 2-1/2" projection across the top. The pattern measures 3.500" in width by .750" in thickness. The recommended rough wood rip-size milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) using four-quarter lumber is 3-3/4" wide.
