Crown 4" - 24

This common crown mould measures 4.000" wide by .687" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber. The traditional profile is comprised of a 37/64" quarter round bead attached to a 1/4" tall line segment on the top left, connected to a graceful two tangent radius cyma recta in the center, joined to another 1/4" tall line segment with a 35/64" cove and a 17/64" horizontal line segment at the bottom of the design. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these particular back bevels keep the inner profile parallel to the wall and ceiling as well as setting the installed height at 3-3/32" tall with a projection of 2-35/64" wide.
