This Attractive Crown Moulding 4" - 5 measures 4.000" wide by .750" thickness with a depth of cut of .357" on the right vertical blades, a .662" depth of cut on the left vertical cutters, and a .356" depth of cut on the top horizontal moulding knives.
The creative profile is comprised of two tangent radiuses creating a cyma recta in the center, flanked by a 1/2" tall vertical line at the top and a 5/16" tall line below, the lower portion of the detail consists of an 11/64" radius ovolo with a 5/16" wide horizontal line at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 3-3/16" tall with a projection of 2-27/64" wide. Three high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same level plane, this specialized design feature will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the bed plates.
