This 4" - 51 contemporary crown mould measures 4.000" tall by 1.437" thickness, permitting the use of six or eight-quarter lumber for milling. The elegant profile is composed of an 11/16" tall vertical line segment at the top, connected to a 1/4" wide by 1/2" tall perpendicular notch joined to a 2-7/16" wide two tangent radius congee in the center, attached to a 3/8" tall by 3/16" wide rabbet leaving a 1/4" wide horizontal line on the bottom of the pattern. We offer a couple of alternative profiles you may want to review and consider, crown molding 4.000" - 54 and crown 4.000" - 56.
