This 4" - 56 flat crown mould measures 4.000" tall by one-inch thickness, necessitating the use of five-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The contemporary profile is composed of a 5/8" tall vertical line segment at the top, connected to a 2-7/8" wide two tangent radius congee, attached to a 1/2" tall by 3/16" wide notch leaving a 5/16" broad horizontal line on the bottom of the pattern.
