Crown 4-1/4" - 24

This conventional 4-1/4" - 24 crown mould measures 4.250" width by .625" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber on a commercial moulder. The standard terminating profile contains a 19/32" tall vertical fillet on the top left, attached to a 1-11/16" radius concave semicircle tangent off of a 13/16" convex arc creating the free-flowing cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature merges with a 19/64" vertical line segment and a 35/64" cove with a 17/64" full horizontal line on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the exposed face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 3-7/16" tall with a projection of 2-1/2" across the top.
