This intriguing 4-1/4" - 44 crown mould measures 4.254" width by .750" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber on an industrial moulder. The elegant supporting profile contains a 3/8" quarter round convex arc with a 13/64" vertical line on the top left. The line connects to a free-flowing two tangent radius cyma recta in the center, merged with a 7/32" tall line and a 3/8" cove with a 27/64" broad line on the bottom right side of the pattern. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the exposed face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 3-1/4" tall with a projection of 2-3/4" across the top.
