Crown 4-1/2" - 35

This luxurious 4-1/2" - 35 crown mould measures 4.517" width by .812" thickness, permitting the use of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The highly decorative supporting pattern contains a 41/64" quarter round convex arc and a 13/64" vertical line segment on the top left. That fillet joins a 1-7/16" cavetto with a tiny perpendicular notch and a 5/32" cove in the center. Attached to a 3/8" wide by 3/4" tall rabbet (for inserting an ornamental rope or classy dentil molding), merged with a small ogee flanked by modest horizontal line segments on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the exposed face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 3-7/16" tall with a projection of 2-15/16" across the top.
