The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height and projection at an identical dimension of of 4" tall and wide. Two high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same plane, our well thought out design features will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed plates. You may want to consider using a felt lined pressure shoe to eliminate any unsightly burnish mark they may be left on top of the ogee from the metal hold down shoe on the molder.
