Crown 6" - 13

This 6" - 13 colonial crown mould measures 6.000" wide by .750" thickness. The classic profile is comprised of two tangent radiuses creating a cyma recta in the middle, flanked by a 3/4" tall vertical fillet on top and an 11/32" tall vertical fillet below, attached to a 31/32" radius cavetto with a 17/32" broad horizontal line on the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific bevels set the installed height at 4-3/4" tall with a projection of 3-21/32" wide.

Two high points in the design were intentionally positioned on the same level plane, creating optimal hold-down conditions for the machine's pressure element when milling this detail, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the bed plates.
