Crown Moulding 6" - 13

This colonial crown moulding 6" - 13 measures 6.000" wide by .750" thickness. The classic profile is comprised of two tangent radiuses creating a cyma recta in the middle, flanked by a 3/4" tall vertical fillet on top and a 11/32" tall vertical fillet below, attached to a 31/32" radius cavetto with a 17/32" wide horizontal line on the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific bevels set the installed height at 4-3/4" tall with a projection of 3-21/32" wide.

Two high points in the design were intentionally positioned on the same level plane, creating optimal hold down conditions on the moulder pressure element when milling this detail, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed plates.
