Crown 8" - 17

This fancy 8" - 17 crown mould measures 8.000" wide by 1.000" thickness, enabling the pattern to be milled sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of five quarter lumber. The elaborate terminating profile is comprised of a 29/64" vertical fillet joined to a 53/64" cove and a 25/64" wide by 1/2" tall perpendicular notch on the top left, connected to a smooth and fluent two tangent radius cyma recta in the center, attached to a 5/16" wide half round bead flanked by small angled line segments with a 15/32" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom right side of the design. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these particular back bevels keep the inner section of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 6-1/4" tall with a projection of 5" wide.
