The stylish colonial profile consists of a bidirectional ten degree beveled top with 1/4"radius edges, the sides are composed of radius edge fillets attached to a cove which is utilized for grasping the railing, and a decorative half round bead toward the bottom of the pattern. The downloadable dxf file contains two ways to mill this pattern, one with the side edge radiuses included in the top moulding knives, and the other with the top radiuses milled with the side profile knives, it also includes a reverse profile for clamping bender railing. We also have a larger version of the same detail if you're interested handrail 3.250" - 1, the only difference between the two is the top angles are different, you can use the same moulding knives for milling the sides.
