This 7-1/8" - 5 log cabin shiplap siding measures 7.125" wide by 1.375" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined from either six or eight-quarter lumber. The attractive profile is composed of a six-inch wide 5-61/64" radius arc in the center, attached to a 1-1/8" wide line segment, one-half inch of this line is tapered by four degrees to allow the end of the board to fit under the 1/2" wide by 1/2" tall rabbet on the opposites side. We two pieces of milled lumber are joined together they create a 6-5/8" wide face coverage dimension with a 5/8" wide channel between the merged planks. We offer a few alternative profiles in the same width but with different inner dimensions for your review and consideration, log cabin siding 7.125", log siding 7.125" - 4 and log cabin siding 7.125" - 6.
