This standard 3/4" -18 shiplap siding measures .750" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined from four-quarter lumber. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the molder or shaper used to cut the design. The profile comprises two 3/8" tall by 3/8" wide rabbets, one positioned on the face side of the board and the other on the bottom side of the lumber. We offer a couple of other patterns in the same thickness but with different size rabbets in the joint for your review and consideration, shiplap .750" - 15, shiplap .750" - 17 and shiplap .750" - 27.
Our high precision acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail, while simultaneously prolonging the milling time between sharpening. Whether you own a Weinig, Wadkin, Leadermac, SCM, Diehl, or Homag molder, our cutters will mill flawlessly on them all.
