This pencil bead 8" - 7 base moulding measures 8.000" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The beautiful profile is composed of a six-inch broad flat area on the top left center. It's attached to a 1/16" vertical drop in elevation that joins to a two tangent radius ogee with a 1/8" steep step. The short line joins a 1-1/16" recessed area at a 3/8" thickness dimension with a 1/16" wide sunk fillet and a 3/16" wide pencil bead on the right side of the pattern. This mopboard can be used in conjunction with a few other matching profiles with the same style; you may want to review and consider door casing 4.250" - 16, chair rail 6.500" - 1 and door casing 5.000" - 30.
