This 2-1/2" - 1 cyma recta crown mould measures 2.500" wide by .750" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber. The stylish profile is comprised of a 1/2" radius convex arc, tangent off of a 5/8" radius concave semicircle creating a cyma recta in the center of the pattern, connected to a 3/8" tall vertical line on the top. The lower portion of the design consists of a 25/64" tall vertical segment attached to a 7/16" broad line at the bottom of the detail. The spring angles are fixed at
thirty-eight and
fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 1-29/32" tall, with a projection of 1-5/8" wide. Two high points in the design were deliberately positioned on the same plane; our exceptional design features will assure superior hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the
pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed plates.
