The small profile is comprised of a 13/32" radius convex arc, tangent off of a 17/32" radius concave curve creating a cyma recta in the center, connected to a 9/32" tall vertical line on the top. The lower portion of the design consists of a 19/64" tall vertical line attached to a 27/64" broad horizontal segment, forming a squared fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 1-1/2" tall, with a projection of 1-3/8" wide. Two high points in the design were intentionally positioned on the same plane; our expert design features will assure superior hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed plates.
Our precise cad drawings contain plenty of important information that will assist you during the setup and milling of this crown moulding profile. Our acrylic templates also provide sufficient blend areas on the knives, so you will never realize where one cutter begins or ends. This specific design feature will substantially increase yield during the milling process.
