Crown 2-1/2" -16

This classic 2-1/2" - 16 crown mould measures 2.500" wide by .750" thickness. The timeless profile comprises two tangent radiuses creating cyma recta in the center, attached to a 13/64" tall vertical fillet and a 15/64" radius quarter circle on top. The lower portion of the design consists of a 1/4" tall vertical line, connected to a 3/8" radius cove with a 5/16" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the pattern. We currently have a group of seven patterns at various size widths, heights, and projections for your review and consideration, 2" wide, 3" width, 4" wide, 5-1/2" wide, 7" width, and 8-1/2" wide.

The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 1-7/8" tall with a projection of 1-43/64" wide. Two high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane; our disciplined design features will assure superior hold-down conditions while milling the detail, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the bed plates.
