Crown 3" - 5

This Elegant Crown Moulding 3" - 5 measures 3.000" wide by .750" thickness, with a .470" depth of cut on the right set of knives, .685" depth of cut on the left set of cutters, and a .332" depth of cut on the top horizontal set of blades.

The good looking profile is comprised of two tangent radiuses creating a cyma recta in the center, attached to a 7/32" tall vertical fillet and a 17/64" radius quarter round circle on top. The lower portion of the design consists of a 1/4" tall vertical line, connected to a 3/8" radius cove with a 19/64" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the pattern. We currently have a group of seven patterns at various size widths, heights and projections for your review and consideration, 2" wide, 2-1/2" width, 4" wide, 5-1/2" wide, 7" width, and 8-1/2" wide.

The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-5/16" tall with a projection of 1-15/16" wide. Three high points in the detail were purposely positioned on the same plane, our creative design features will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the bed plates.
