This Large Colonial Crown Moulding 8-1/2" - 5 measures 8.500" wide by 1.062" thickness, with a .458" depth of cut on the right vertical knives, a .614" depth of cut on the left set of blades, and a .687" depth of cut on the top horizontal cutters.
The profile is comprised of a 13/16" tall vertical fillet on top, connected to a two tangent radius cyma recta with attached 25/32" vertical fillet in the center, joined to a 1-7/32" radius cove and an 25/32" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the pattern. We have a group of eight matching profiles at various size widths, heights and projections for your review and consideration, 1-1/2" wide, 2" width, 2-1/2" wide, 3" width, 4" wide, 5-1/2" width, and 7" wide.
The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these dedicated back bevels set the installed height at 6-5/8" tall, with a projection of 5-5/16" wide. Three high points in the detail are intentionally positioned on the same level plane, our professional design features will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is properly set parallel to the bed plates.
