This large 8-1/2" - 5 colonial crown mould measures 8.500" wide by 1.062" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of five-quarter lumber. The distinctive profile is comprised of a 13/16" tall vertical line segment on top, connected to a two tangent radius cyma recta with a 25/32" vertical line in the center, joined to a 1-7/32" radius cove and a 25/32" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these dedicated back bevels set the installed height at 6-5/8" tall, with a projection of 5-5/16" wide.
